PRACTICAL WORKS level 2
The practical works regarding “swimmer M” were the opportunity of numerous and fruitful exchanges between teachers and coaches in order to refine their perceptual activity and use their knowledge of the way the swimmer operates.
We chose short video clips similar to the way the swimmer is usually seen from the border of the pool. The expert’s point of view was presented to gatherings in Dinard and Aix-les Bains.
The clips from “swimmer A” are underwater shots recorded by a camera moved along the swimmer. It will require a new reading. Those clips remain none the less interesting for the “auto-social-construction" of the participating volunteers.
In order to begin our exchanges it seems that several common rules need to be respected:
-
The choice of at least two video sequences
-
The complete and precise description of what is observed
-
The interpretation of what produces what is observed
-
One or more proposal in order to obtain a desirable transformation
-
Possibly some additional commentaries
To facilitate and encourage active participation, anonymity is systematically proposed by the associating a letter to each participant.
Every week a global exchange of the various anonymous contributions is organized.
All contributions must be sent to «
The website will let everyone know of this new operation’s success.
